The Chhattisgarh Board for Secondary Education (CGBSE) has decided to go ahead with its earlier plan to hold classes of 10 and 12 board exams offline from March 2.
Meanwhile, several students demanded to take exams online, but the board has put all question and speculation to rest. The board issued a new notice on February 9 and instructed schools to conduct the practical exam and project work assessment for students at their assigned exam centers between March 2 and 30.
The CGBSE has also emphasized that there will be no special relaxation or re-examination for those who are absent. According to the CGBSE notice, 10th and 12th grade students enrolled in the board exam are required to submit a minimum of two assignments out of a total of six assigned to them. Students who do not hand in the assignments according to the Boar’s guideline cannot participate in the main exam, read the message.
