The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha, will announce the results for the exams plus two or class 12 tomorrow, July 27. The results will be announced for science and commerce students at 4:00 PM. About 3.5 lakh students had applied for the 12th result of Odisha Board this year. Once released, the CHSE Odisha +2 results will be available on the official websites — chseodisha.nic.in and orissaresults.nic.in.
In addition to the official websites, the marker sheets will also be made available through the DigiLocker and the Umang app. Students will need their registration number to access the results online. The grade sheet that the students will receive tomorrow serves as a provisional grade sheet. The paper version of the grade sheet will be released from the board later, which will act as the last.
To pass the exams, students must obtain a minimum of 33 percent points for each subject and overall. Those who fail in one or two subjects must appear for the compartmental exams. While those who fail the compartmental exams have to repeat the class.
Last year the results were announced on July 31. In 2021 the art, commerce and science streams were split and the results for the art stream were announced separately. In 2021, a staggering 95.15 percent of students taking exams in the science stream managed to pass, in the trade the pass rate was 94.96 percent and in the arts stream no less than 89.49 percent of the students passed. the exam.
It should be noted that last year’s board exams were canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. In 2020, the success rate was lower. A total of 70.21 percent of students passed CHSE Odisha +2 in science stream and 67.56 percent in arts and 74.95 percent in commerce. This year, results are likely to return to pre-pandemic levels, meaning it could fall below 80 percent.
