The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has extended the last date to request preliminary investigation of the government services 2025.
The provisional investigation of the government services is planned for 25 May.
According to an UPSC report, the last date for registration for civil services (for the time being) -2025 and Indian Forest Service (for the time being) -2025 has been “extended to 6,02.2025 (6 p.m.).”
A corrective star will also be open to applicants “until the seven days of seven days from the next day after the closure of the application version, ie from 19.02.2025 to 25.02.2025,” said the report.
Some applicants had complained about certain problems that they were confronted with while applying via the UPSC portal, reported the PTI news agency that quoted official sources.
Earlier was the last date to request the exam online February 11, 2025 to 6 pm.
The aspirants of the civil services must apply online via the official website http://upsconline.gov.in.
The investigation into government services is conducted every year by the UPSC in three phases – for the time being, main courses and interview – to select Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and Indian Police Service (IPS), below Others.
This year the number of vacancies that must be filled by the investigation is expected to be around 979, including 38 vacancies reserved for people with a benchmark -invalidity category.
Goa HSSC Board exams to start on 10 February
The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) will perform its class 12 exams on 10 February in 20 centers in the state.
According to an official release, the exam starts at 9.30 am for all streams, including art, trade, science and vocational -oriented.
Exams are held from 10 February to 1 March in 20 exam centers, said it.
“The seats for candidates is available on the website of the board. Candidates are advised to be present in the exam centers at least 45 minutes before the start of the exam,” the release explained.
No fewer than 17,718 (regular category) candidates will appear before the investigation, said it.
