Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) is seeking individuals for 261 positions of Senior Ship Draftsman, Jr Technical Assistant, Assistant and others. The online application process for CSL Recruitment started on 14 May. The last day to register is June 6. Those who are willing and eligible should apply online at CSL’s official website, cochinshipyard.in.

To be selected for the positions, candidates must pass recruitment exams. The exam will consist of an objective online test. The Objective type online test will be divided into two parts: general (part A) and trading/discipline related (part B). Each question is worth one point and there will be no negative rating. Merit lists for each vacancy are generated based on the grades obtained by candidates in the Objective type online test. After that, candidates with sufficient marks will be shortlisted for Certificate Verification.

Cochin Shipyard Recruitment: Suitability

Age: The posts have a maximum age limit of 35 years from June 6, 2022, meaning candidates must have been born on or after June 6, 1987.

Course: Applicants must have at least a three-year degree in Mechanical Engineering from a State Board of Technical Education and obtain a minimum of 60 percent credit or a bachelor’s degree in the relevant allowance. For Mechanic and Shipwright Wood positions, candidates with Class 10 and ITI certification can also apply.

Cochin Shipyard Recruitment: How to Apply?

Step 1: Visit the CSL official website at cochinshipyard.in.

Step 2: On the home page, click the career option first, then CSL, Kochi

Step 3: Register with the registrar and start the application process.

Step 4: Upload all relevant papers.

Step 5: Pay the application fee.

Step 6: Submit and print the application form.

Cochin Shipyard Recruitment: Compensation

Candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 400 through online payment options (Debit/Credit Card/Internet Banking/Wallets/UPI, etc). The application fee is waived for Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) candidates.

Cochin Shipyard Recruitment: Salary

For W6 level jobs, the salary is between Rs 22,500 and Rs 73,750. For W7 positions, the salary is between Rs 23,500 and Rs 77,000. Monthly salary should be about Rs 37105 for W6 and Rs 38585 for W7 level posts with other benefits including Contributory Provident Fund, Accident Insurance Coverage, Medical Expense Reimbursement under the Contributed Medical Insurance Policy, Leave Collection etc.
