The registration process for the Undergraduate Entrance Test for Engineering Courses (UGET 2022) conducted by the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has commenced online at the official website – comedk.org. The entrance examination will be held in a computer-based test (CBT) mode in two shifts: from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM on June 19.
Candidates will have four days from May 13-16 to correct any errors in the application form. Candidates who are willing to access various undergraduate engineering courses (BE/BTech) offered by the colleges in Karnataka Unaided Private Engineering Colleges Association (KUPECA) can apply online before May 2. The KUPECA consists of more than 150 private colleges in Karnataka.

COMEDK UGET 2022: Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for COMEDK UGET 2022, the applicant must obtain a minimum of 45 percent aggregated marks in grade 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English as required subjects. For candidates belonging to the SC, ST and OBC categories of Karnataka State, the minimum number of points eligibility will be relaxed by 5 percent. Diploma candidates are not eligible for the entrance examination.
COMEDK UGET 2022: How to Apply
Step 1: Go to the official portal of COMEDK
Step 2: Click on the link ‘COMEDK UGET 2022 Registration’ available on the homepage of the website
Step 3: Then click on the register tab
Step 4: Register on the portal by providing the required details and generating a login ID
Step 5: Now login to your account by entering your credentials
Step 6: Complete the COMEDK UGET Application Form and attach soft copies of the supporting documents
Step 7: Submit the form and pay the application fee
Step 8: Print out or keep a copy of the application form for future reference

COMEDK UGET 2022: Exam Pattern
The three-hour entrance exam conducted in CBT mode has a total of 180 questions with 1 grade each. The paper will be divided into three equal sections, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with 60 questions each. No negative assessment is given on the entrance examination.
COMEDK offers a total of nearly 20,000 technical course placements at colleges across the state. After qualifying for the entrance examination, candidates are assigned colleges through a centralized counseling process (single window system).
