He expressed his delight at the number of girl students who graduated more than the male students at the convocation ceremony, saying that this is a pleasant and commendable achievement.

Governor Mishra awarded gold medals to 30 top performers and doctorates to 11 researchers during the function.
He expressed the need to carry out research projects that can provide a modern vision of folk culture and traditions. He called for the creation of employment-oriented courses, skills development and student-oriented activities for the overall development of the student community.
Minister of Tribal Area Development, Arjun Singh Bamnia, said that with the opening of Govind Guru Tribal University, there has been a revolution in the level of education in tribal areas.
He said that the state government is working on overall development in the field of education and has initiated several higher education programs and asked students to take advantage of them.
Vice Chancellor IV Trivedi provided information on various activities of the university.
