More than 18 lakh candidates that applied for the 2021 CTET are waiting for the result since February 15th. The CBSE – exam governing body – had announced that the CTET result will be released on February 15, but the link has yet to be activated. Despite candidates expressing concerns, the board has not yet made an official statement about the delayed result or the new dates it would be announced. Not only has this led to confusion among candidates, but many candidates have also claimed that it provided them with a job opportunity.
One of the most favored schools for candidates for government jobs – Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) is hiring and CTET aspirants claim they cannot apply for the ongoing recruitment campaign as their results are yet to be awaited. Many took to social media platforms, urging CBSE to release the results at the earliest.
We can’t apply all the odds out there to them if #ctetresult is not out yet, nor is there any announcement about the result. I don’t know why the authorities play with students’ emotions. We will all be unemployed #CTET #ignorance from authorities.— Niharika (@Niharik43486833) February 24, 2022
Some candidates have asked CBSE to own and release at least a notification of the latest result date.
You have failed miserably #CBSE to be fair about publishing results on February 15th. Please stop making fun of yourself now #CBSE † In any case, announce an authentic date and time for the results to be released and let’s breathe a sigh of relief #ctetresult #ctetresult— Oindrila Basak (@basak_oindrila) February 19, 2022
#ctetresult please give the result, we know you are all so busy but at least you have little time to let us know when you are going to give result or what the problem is. Please think of us once. Every minute is difficult for us. Please don’t play with our future. #ctet give result.— Ayushi (@ayushi7890) February 21, 2022
This year, CBSE conducted the first-ever online CTET, but on the first day of the exam, students faced technical difficulties, many could not even complete the exam. TCS iON, who was responsible for administering the exam, said: “On Day 1, unexpected technical issues impacted operations at certain locations, in the first shift. As a result, candidates in the affected locations were unable to take the exam. As a result, we had to cancel the exam of the second shift.”
