CUET PG 2023: MBA (General) is one of the most chosen courses by the students, but this year the National Testing Agency found a low number of students appeared for the exam
National Testing Agency has released the results for the CUET PG 2023 on its official website, cuet.nta.nic.in. Students can access their Common University Entrance Test-PG results using the application number and password. This year, the Agency notes that more than half of the registered candidates did not appear for the exam. In CUET-PG 2023, the highest number of candidates applied for MBA (General), but the fewest number of students seemed to take the entrance exam.
The same goes for the students who chose Samveda and Krishna Yajurved. NTA noted that Samveda and Krishna Yajurved was one of the subjects where students failed to appear for the exam. In its report, NTA did not state any reason why courses such as MBA (general) have found a low level of participation among students.
CUET PG Result 2023 Live Updates
When candidates pass the CUET PG in 2023, they will be eligible to apply for admission to 180 universities, including central, state and private universities, that have chosen to use the CUET-PG for the purpose of regulating their postgraduate admission. NTA states that there is no provision for reassessment or recheck of the CUET PG result. The result given by the university is considered final. No correspondence in this regard will now be entertained.
This year, NTA observed 4,59,083 unique registered students with 11 representing the transgender community. Furthermore, in 2023, many students who applied for the CUET PG exam for two subjects appeared. A number of test sites across the country hosted the CUET PG 2023 from June 5 to June 17 and then again from June 22 to June 30. The exam was conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) method for over 8.33 lakh students in about 245 cities across India and abroad.
The University Grants Commission (UGC) has required all central universities to use CUET for undergraduate admissions, though it has been left as a possible choice for postgraduate entrance exams. Approximately 180 higher education institutions, including central, state and private colleges and universities, have signed up to deploy CUET-PG for the supervision of postgraduate admissions.
