The result of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for undergraduate (UG) admissions at colleges and universities is likely to be announced in early September.
The exams are administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The exams, which will be held in six stages due to various technical issues that have resulted in postponement and cancellation, started on July 15 and will end on August 30.
The result of CUET-UG will be published on the NTA website. Students can check their grades at nta.ac.in or cuet.nta.nic.in.
In addition, the results are sent to various involved Central and other universities. The universities and colleges will release the cut-off list based on this result, after which the new session of the first year in the colleges will start.
About 6.31 lakh students have appeared in the CUET-UG exams in 3 stages so far.
Admission cards will be issued to the candidates for the fourth stage of the CUET-UG exams, scheduled for August 17, 18 and 20. A total of 3.72 lakh candidates will appear at this stage.
According to the NTA, the CUET-UG Phase 5 exam will be held on August 21, 22 and 23, for which the admission card will be issued on August 17.
According to UGC President M. Jagadesh Kumar Kumar, most of the candidates have been given cities of their choice.
However, there are some 11,000 candidates who could not get the cities of their choice and have moved on to phase 6.
The candidates who, for technical reasons or due to cancellation of the center, were unable to appear in Phase 2 on August 4, 5 and 6 will be allowed to participate in the Phase 6 exam to be held from August 24 to 30.
The admission card for these students will be issued on 20 August.
