Delhi Governor Anil Baijal suggested on Saturday that Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University would seek accreditation of its courses from renowned foreign universities to increase the employability of the students. The LG chaired the 11th meeting of the University Court along with the Rector and other members of the body.
“Advised university authorities to seek international accreditation of its courses from reputable institutions and universities abroad to improve employability options for the students and capitalize on our demographic dividend around the world,” he said in a tweet.
The Court reviewed and approved the annual report for the year 2020-21 and also discussed the CAG’s audit report for the year 2018-2019. LG congratulated the university’s management, faculty and students on their achievements and wished them well for their future endeavors.
