Several students of Delhi University (DU), who are or will appear for the semester exams, had filed a plea in the Delhi High Court, challenging the varsity’s order to conduct personal exams. DU had announced on February 11 that the even semester exam will be held in offline mode in May 2022. The HC has now dismissed the plea as withdrawn, ANI news agency reported.
The plea also sought direction to keep the current semesters in open book form. It added that since classes were held in online mode, students should not be asked to appear for the exam in offline mode.
