The University of Delhi (DU) has announced that it will consider CUET scores for admission into its undergraduate and postgraduate courses for the academic year 2023-24. Candidates can view the notice by visiting DU’s official website, at Admission.uod.ac.in. This decision was taken at the meeting of the Executive Council on 8 December.
“The Executive Council of Delhi University has decided at its meeting of 8th December 2022 that with effect from the 2023-23 Academic Session, admissions, both at undergraduate and postgraduate level, including those under reserved category and minority quota, will be conducted centrally based solely on the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) score,” the official notice reads.

The CUET UG 2022 will be held from May 21 to 31, 2023 and CUET PG will be held from June 1 to June 10 and the registration process will begin from mid-March. The exam dates were previously announced by UGC President M Jagadesh Kumar.
For CUET, the number of subjects and the pattern of question papers remain the same last time, Kumar informed. In addition to one/two languages and the general test, a candidate can take a total of six domain subjects. “NTA is working to prepare 1000 testing centers across the country, of which 450-500 centers will be used per day,” he added.
CUET 2023 will be held in Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu. “CUET-UG results are expected to be announced in the third week of June 2023 and CUET-PG results in the first week of July 2023,” Kumar tweeted.
CUET 2022 was held in six phases after some technical issues. The paper consists of four sections, including Section IA – 13 Languages, Section IB – 20 Languages, Section II – 27 Domain Specific Topics, and Section III – General Test.
