Arrangements for free and quality education “should be made for every child” in the country, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said here on Saturday. Sisodia conducted an inspection of a government school and said schools should prepare students for a mindset of being job providers rather than job seekers. “To become the number one country in the world, we need to make arrangements for free and quality education for every child. We also need to ensure that children have the ambition to become entrepreneurs and job providers,” said Sisodia.
He further stated that the Delhi government has “worked hard to provide good quality education”, free of charge for every child in Delhi. “Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and I have a dream that every child of Delhi would have a wonderful school to study, where they would receive a world-class education for free. We are working hard to fulfill this vision,” said Sisodia.
