This year, there are 10 Indian institutions in the top 100, with two in the top 50. In addition, 11 Indian institutions have earned a place in the FT Masters in Management rankings for 2023.
In the 2023 Financial Times Business School Rankings for MBA programs, six Indian B-schools secured top positions. The Indian School of Business (ISB) has claimed the top spot among Indian B-schools, ranking 39th overall. Notably, ISB ranks 12th in the alumni networks category. According to the rankings released on September 10, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s SP Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR) is India’s first top business school to be rated globally. SPJIMR and IIM Ahmedabad are the two Indian management schools that made it into the top 50 this year. SPJIMR came in at number 40, followed by IIM Ahmedabad at number 43.
A total of ten Indian institutions are in the top 100 this year, with two in the top 50. In addition, 11 Indian institutions have earned a place in the FT Masters in Management rankings for 2023.
ISB students receive a weighted salary offer of $161,331, putting them ahead of the pack. After ISB, we have Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad at 51st, IIM Bangalore at 52nd, IIM Calcutta at 76th, IIM Indore at 89th and IIM Lucknow at 90th.
NMIMS Mumbai, School of Business Management is ranked 83rd, followed by International Management Institute, New Delhi at 84th and XLRI-Xavier School of Management at 85th. The Indian Institute of Management Udaipur is ranked 88th, followed by the Institute of Management Technology Ghaziabad at 92nd and the Management Development Institute Gurgaon at 93rd, according to the rankings.
Students at IIM Ahmedabad are offered an average salary package of $186,420, and its alumni network ranks 72nd. According to the FT Business School Rankings 2023, here are the average salary figures of Indian School of Business (ISB) $161,331, IIM Bangalore – $157,514, IIM Calcutta – $1,56,724, IIM Indore – $143,544 and IIM Lucknow – $136,673.
On a global scale, IE Business School achieved the highest rank, followed by Warwick Business School in 2nd place, Imperial College Business School in 3rd place, Carnegie Mellon: Tepper in 4th place and University of Massachusetts Amherst: Isenberg in 5th place.
