The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Education Board (GSHSEB) announced today, May 12, the results of the Class 12 or HSC final exam for science stream. No less than 72.02 percent of the students passed the exam. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check the result on the official portal of the board – gseb.org. Since more than one lakh students had passed the Gujarat board HSC science exam this time, the official website may crash when checking the grade sheet. Students can also check it via SMS and the DigiLocker app.

The official marking sheets are released by the board after 10 days. It will be sent to the respective schools where the students have to pick it up. The merit list will also be released by GSHSEB soon. To pass the test, students must score a minimum of 35 points or grade D to be passed in the Gujarat board’s class 12 science stream exam.
Those who obtain Grade E1 or Grade E2 in subjects will have the opportunity to improve their scores by appearing in additional exams conducted by GSHSEB. The exams were conducted between March 28 and April 8 in strict adherence to government COVID-19 protocols. Students who are not satisfied with their grades in the Gujarat Board 12th Scientific Result are allowed to request a reassessment. GSEB will also conduct the compartment exams, the dates of which will be announced shortly. This again gives students the opportunity to improve their results.

Step 1: Login to the official portal of GSHSEB, gseb.org and click on the website tab of the board

Step 3: Enter the required credentials such as role number in the provided fields.
Step 4: Click the ‘Send’ button.

Step 6: Download or print a copy of the result for future use or reference.

Step 1: Visit DigiLocker’s official website at digilocker.gov.in
Step 2: Click on the ‘Register for DigiLocker’ read link
Step 3: Enter a valid mobile number and click ‘Continue’
Step 4: An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number, use that OTP to verify your number
Step 5: Set your username and password to login. Keep the username and password safe for later logins

GSEB HSC Results 2022: What? to check in Gujarat Board 12th Marksheet
After receiving their GSHSEB class 12 science stream result, students are required to check all the details on the grade sheet including their name, parents names, score, subject names and application number. In case of any discrepancy, students are advised to immediately approach the Gujarat administration.
GSEB HSC Results 2022: Passing Points
Students must achieve at least 35 percent in any subject of the science stream and in general to pass the Gujarat board 12th exam. Those who score 91 points or higher will receive an A1 grade, those who score between 91 and 80 points will receive A2, those who score between 80 and 71 will receive grade B1, and those between 70 and 61 will receive B2 grade.
Students who earn points in the range of 60 to 51 will receive grade C1, while those who score between 50 and 41 will receive grade C2. This is followed by a grade for students who achieve between 40 and 35. While students who get grades below 35 but above 21 will be given a grade E1 and have to appear for the compartment exams, the dates of which will be announced once the results are out. Those who get 20 points or less fall into the F category, meaning they fail and have to redo the year.
GSEB HSC Results 2022: What Happened Last Year
In 2021, the Gujarat board had canceled the HSC exam due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It had formulated the result through an alternative evaluation scheme. The GSHSEB results were prepared by assigning 50 percent weight to Class 10 Result and 25 percent to Class 11 Result and Class 12 Internal Unit Tests each. As many as 3.71 lakh students had appeared for the GSEB class 12 exam, of which 2.83 lakh was passed.
Before last year, an average of 71 percent of the total number of students completed the exam. In 2020, out of the 1.7 lakh candidates who registered for the science exam, a whopping 3,245 received an A1 grade. In 2019, no less than 71.9 percent of the students passed. Therefore, the number of students who pass the exam is likely to decrease this year than in 2021. Students score a minimum of 35 percent in the Gujarat Board’s 12th result. In the meantime, commerce and art movement students will have to wait a little longer to get their results.
GUJCET Result 2022 Today
Not only the Gujarat board science stream 12th result, the GSEB will also release the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) 2022 results today. The candidates who appeared for the exam can check their results on the official website at gseb.org. GUJCET 2022 was held on April 18. To download the results, students should have their admission tickets ready as they will need their application number on the hall ticket to download their results.
Out of the total students who appeared for the exam, as many as 1,07,694 students had enrolled in GUJCET 2022 in Physics, but 1,02,913 students had appeared for the exam. The biology exam was attended by 64,965 students out of 67,934 who took the exam, while for the math paper, a whopping 4,007 students appeared for the exam.

GUJCET is conducted for admission to diploma and diploma programs in engineering and pharmacy courses in the state institutes. It was held as an offline pen and paper based test on April 18.
