The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) or Gujarat Board HSC results for science stream will be available at 10am on the official website gseb.org. Students who took the Gujarat Board 12th exams between March 28 and April 8 can download their transcripts today.
To pass the GSEB HSC result, students must obtain a minimum of 33 percent points or grade D. Those who achieve maximum grade E1 or grade E2 in the subjects must improve scores by appearing in additional exams. Students who score lower are considered to have failed the exam and must retake the year.
Students who score 91 points or above will receive an A1 grade, followed by an A2 for those who score between 91 and 80 points. Achieving grades between 80 and 71 and 70 to 61 will receive a student grade B1 and B2 respectively. Students who obtain grades in the range of 60 to 51 will receive C1, holders from 50 to 41 will receive a C2 grade followed by D for grades between 40 and 35. Students who will receive grades below 35 but above 21 will receive an E1 grade and must appear for the compartment exams.
In 2021, GSHSEB had canceled the physical examination for class 12 due to the COVID-19 situation in the state. The board recorded a result of 100 percent, as all students were passed on the basis of an alternative evaluation method. In 2020, GSHSEB witnessed a 71.34 percent pass rate in the Class 12 science stream. In 2019, the pass rate of GSHSEB class 12 science stream results was 71.9 percent.
After receiving their GSHSEB class 12 science stream result, students are required to check all the details on the grade sheet including their name, parents names, score, subject names and application number. In case of any discrepancy, students are advised to approach Gujarat Board immediately. Apart from the 12th grade result, the GUJCET marks for admission to pharmacy and engineering degree courses are also released today.
