The Himachal Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (HPBOSE) has released the revised date sheet for term 2-matric exams. The exams now start on March 26, but will last until April 13 instead of April 8.
Candidates who will appear for the exam can consult the detailed datasheet on the official website of the board at hpbose.org. The class 10 or matric term 2 exams are held from 8:45 am to 12 noon.

For the class 12 board exams 2022 there is no change in the datasheet. It will be held from March 22 and will last until April 13. The HP board will prepare the final results based on the grades of periods 1 and 2, internals and labs. The student will only be assessed as passed or not if the final results have been announced.
The term I exams for class 10 were held between November 20 and December 3 and the first term exams of class 12 were held between November 18 and December 9. The result for both classes was released on February 11.
Like CBSE, the board of Himachal Pradesh has divided the exams into two terms this year like CBSE. Each semester covered 50 percent of the total syllabus. The board also cut the overall syllabus by 30 percent, just like last year.

Class 10, 12 students who missed some papers in the semester 1 exams due to Covid may appear for special exams. The board will conduct these special exams for class 10 until March 17 and the special exams for class 12 term 1 will end on March 25. The exams started on March 10.
Last year, the board exams had to be canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The board achieved the highest pass rate ever: 99.7 percent of students passed the basic exam and 92.77 percent passed the higher secondary exam.
