ICICI Securities has launched ‘ICICIdirect iLearn’ — a learning app that gives clients easy access to learning content curated around various financial products and market topics. This will provide clients with the robust knowledge needed to better assist them in their investment journey.
‘ICICIdirect iLearn’ aims to familiarize investors with the knowledge about financial or investment instruments by incorporating both standard and contemporary content, which meets the needs of both novice and advanced investors. The app currently features over 550 plus pieces of content in various sections. The content will be regularly updated on various topics, including current market developments.
The examples and analogies given in the app would simplify complex financial concepts and increase the investment acumen of the users, building their confidence and helping them make informed decisions about investing their money. The app is available in both Android and iOS system.
“In a country like India, where more people are gradually switching to investing in the markets, a large proportion of them are still unfamiliar with the core financial or investment instruments,” said ICICIDirect.
Commenting on the launch, Vishal Gulechha, Head – Retail Equity, ICICIdirect said: “For decades, ICICI has been directly providing financial knowledge to Indian investors through various awareness programs in physical form. As the world continues to digitize, we are pleased to launch ‘ICICIdirect iLearn’, which aims to provide investors with well-informed and simplified content, curated by our experts, to help them make informed investment decisions. This content will be updated regularly, giving investors a new perspective.”
“We also plan to introduce ‘iCommunity’ to the platform soon so that we can learn from fellow investors. With our constant efforts to reach a wider audience and educate them about the importance of financial literacy, we hope that ICICIdirect iLearn will empower investors to plan and achieve their desired goals,” he added.
