IGNOU Extends New Admission Last Date for Online and ODL Programs (Representative Image)
For certificate or semester-based programs, the last application date is March 14, and for all other programs, the last application date is March 20
The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the last date for re-registration, new admission for online and distance learning (ODL) programs and merit-based ODL programs for the January 2023 session. Candidates can now apply until March 20 at the official website of IGNOU.
For online programs, candidates must apply at ignouiop.samarth.edu.in. While candidates must apply for the online and ODL program through ignousamarth.edu.in.
For certificate or semester-based programs, interested and eligible applicants can apply until March 14, 2023.
IGNOU January 2023 Session: How to register
Step 1: Visit IGNOU’s official website at ignou.ac.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on “The Last Date for Re-Registration, New Admission for Online and ODL Programs, Merit Based ODL Programs for January 2023 session will be extended to March 20, 2023 with no late fees”
Step 3: A new page will appear on the screen
Step 4: New candidates need to register first and then fill the application form.
Step 5: Upload documents and pay the application fee.
Step 6: Submit and download the confirmation page.
The documents required when applying for the IGNOU courses include a scanned photograph, signature, copy of proof of age, relevant educational qualification certificates, certificate of experience, category certificate (if any), and BPL certificate (if any).
