IIM Calcutta has launched an executive program in Investment Banking and Capital Markets (EPIBCM) in collaboration with Imarticus Learning. The program is launched to empower professionals to strengthen their careers in the financial services industry and drive their growth trajectory. Prof. dr. Arnab Bhattacharya and Prof. Sudhakara Reddy from IIM Calcutta will be the program directors of this Long Duration Program (LDP).
It is a one-year program consisting of three basic modules and seven advanced modules. In addition, a three-day intensive workshop will be conducted on the IIM Calcutta campus in the first quarter, followed by a three-day workshop towards the end of the programme. The program is delivered online once a week according to the schedule of the program. The program fee is Rs 3,98,000 + GST which includes the cost of on-campus immersion, the institute reports.

The program aims to provide students with in-depth domain knowledge of Investment Banking and Global Capital Markets. “The course modules cover a range of topics, including debt and equity capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, portfolio fund management, market research and securities valuation, sales and trading, and securities regulation. Designed to equip students with conceptual knowledge and understanding of the subject’s framework and fundamentals, the course covers the entire spectrum of investment banking and capital markets,” the institute claims.
