The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) is all set to start the registration process. The admission process starts tomorrow from April 25. The last registration date is May 20, 2022. The applicants can apply on the official website — iiseradmission.in / iisermohali.ac.in.
The IISER Admission Test (IAT) 2022 is scheduled for July 3, 2022. In IAT 2022. The IISER 2022 application process will consist of registration, filling the application form, uploading documents and paying the fee. Along with the dates of the application form, the officials have also announced the exam date of IISER 2022. According to the official notification, the 2022 IISER admission test will be conducted on June 12.
IISER Admissions 2022: How to Apply?
Step 1. Visit the official website of IISER 2022 – iseradmission.in.
Step 2. Click the “IISER Registration 2022” link and complete the process.
Step 3. Proceed using the assigned credentials to fill the IISER 2022 application form.
Step 4. Pay the application fee in online mode.
Step 5. Preview and submit the IISER application form for the admission test.
IISER Admissions 2022: Document Needed to Apply
Candidates can apply for admission through the channels of the State and Central Council (SCB) and Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY). IISER also admits students through Joint Entrance Examination (JEE). JEE Advanced qualified students, who are in the first 15,000 ranks, can apply for IISER admission.
Those who choose the SCB channel must appear before IAT 2022 and for admission through the KVPY channel, the entrance exam is the KVPY proficiency test.
While filling out the form, students will also need their class 10th and 12th exam certificate and a passport photo.
India has seven IISER institutions and they are located in Mohali, Tirupati, Berhampur, Pune, Bhopal, Kolkata, Thiruvananthapuram. These institutions correspond to a five-year dual degree program known as the BS-MS program.
This year there has also been a change in the grading scheme, this year the candidates in the exam receive three points for every correct answer and for every incorrect answer they receive a minus mark of 0.75 points. No points will be awarded or deducted for unanswered questions.
