IIT JEE or JEE Advanced is considered one of the toughest exams in India. In fact, it ranks second after China’s Gaokao in terms of difficulty, according to Erudera’s Top Toughest Exams in World Report 2023. But did you know that IITs have coveted courses that don’t require a JEE or JEE Advance score? On Wednesday, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi launched an online certificate program titled Project Management: Theory and Practice. According to the official brochure, this will be a six-month online program starting on November 4, 2023.
The online sessions take place on weekends, on Saturdays and Sundays from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM. The last date to register is October 15.
The fee for this online course is Rs 10,000+ GST (18 percent).
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must be graduates (10+2+3) in any discipline/degree holders in any branch of engineering from a recognized university.
Documents required
Candidates must provide proof of graduation in the form of a consolidated graduation grade sheet (including all semesters).
Final year students are advised to submit mark sheets up to and including the previous semester.
Candidates are required to produce a government-issued photo ID such as Aadhar/PAN Card/Driving License/Passport etc. along with a passport size photograph.
Evaluation
The evaluation criteria are determined by the faculty and include quizzes, projects, case studies and assignments.
The course aims to develop skills in students to manage projects to meet deadlines and budget targets. To receive a certificate, students must score at least 50 percent on the evaluation components and attend at least 70 percent of the lectures and seminars. Only e-certificate will be issued to the candidates by Continuing Education Program (CEP), IIT Delhi.
Faculty for this program are drawn from various departments of IIT Delhi, IIMs and other renowned universities from India and abroad.
