The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has invited applications for admission into its postgraduate courses including MTech, MSc, MS programs. Those untreated can apply at ecampus.iitd.ac.in/PGADM/login and home.iitd.ac.in/pg-admissions.php. Candidates should note that the application form only needs to be completed online. The last date to sign up for the programs is April 11.
IIT Delhi offers 31 PhD, 41 MTech, 16 MS, five MSc, three MBA, one MPP and one MDes programs. IIT Delhi also offers the opportunity for ‘deserving’ BTech students to obtain a direct PhD without pursuing a postgraduate degree.
IIT Delhi PhD Admission Process
“Submission of an application is only possible via the online procedure. Candidates are not required to send a hard copy of the application form and bank challenge”, read the official notice of the institute.
According to the announcement on the official website, the admission test is likely to take place between May 16 and June 24. Students will be invited for an interview at the Delhi-based campus on these days. The eligibility criteria for application are different for different postgraduate programs.
IIT Delhi PG Courses: Application Fee
Those who wish to apply can do so by going to the official website and paying the application fee with the required documents.
“Candidates belonging to General/OBC/EWS category are required to pay for each application form a fee of Rs 200/- and the candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PwD categories are required to pay Rs. 50/-. The bank charges are for the account of the candidate. The application compensations are non-refundable,” read the notification.
The notice added: “The full amount of the fees/other charges deposited by the candidates will be refunded after deduction of Rs.1,000/- if the candidates do not participate in the program after paying the dues and leave the Institute by applying for a refund on or before the date of registration. upon discharge after registration, the only deposit will be refunded.”
