With the aim of accelerating research in advanced automotive technologies, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Hyderabad recently teamed up with Mobis India Ltd. Through this partnership, the Institute will leverage its expertise in mathematical modelling, machine learning and hardware prototypes to address India-specific challenges in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and hardware resource optimization techniques for chassis software.
Jae oh Cha, Chief Technical Officer (CTO), stated that this partnership will address India-specific challenges in ADAS and hardware resource optimization techniques for Chassis Software, said: “Mobis India Limited (Mobis Technical Center of India) is pleased to partner with IIT Hyderabad for future technology development in advanced driver assistance systems and chassis systems for the Indian automotive market. We look forward to further expanding the cooperation in the future.”

Prof. dr. BS Murty, director of IITH, said on occasion: “With this collaboration, IITH aims to further strengthen its expertise in the automotive industry, specifically for advanced automotive technologies such as ADAS. This pact will enable our researcher to address the unresolved challenges and equip IITH to prepare the industry for human resources with the domain expertise to realize our motto of Inventing & Innovating in Technology for Humanity.” Mobis partnership with IIT Hyderabad will work in Advanced Driving Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Chassis systems, the release added.

IIT Hyderabd had previously introduced three BTech programs in biotechnology and bioinformatics, computational engineering and industrial chemistry. After the four-year programs, students are prepared to work in various industries such as pharmaceutical and drug design, polymer industry, petrochemical industry, environment and energy, etc.
