Indian Navy will recruit Agniveer under MR i.e. Matric Recruitment. This involves recruiting for the position of sailor, ie chief, steward and sanitary hygienist. The Navy publishes the notice of MR recruitment on its website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in and in newspapers.
MRie Matric Recruitment in the Navy is recruited on the basis of computer based testing, physical testing and medical examinations. The interested candidate must be between the ages of 17½ and 21.
The recruitment also comes with a generous pay. MR Agniveer’s salary in the navy will be Rs 30,000 per month for the first year. Of which they get their hands on Rs 21,000 and Rs 9,000 i.e. 30 per cent is deposited into the corpus fund. Similarly, in the second year, the salary will be increased to Rs 33,000 and then in the third year it will be Rs 36,500 and in the fourth year it will be Rs 40,000. But each year, 30 percent of the salary is deposited into the salary corpus fund. After four years of service, Agniveer gets Rs 5.2 lakh. The government, for its part, adds the same amount together. Thus, the total amount will be around Rs 10.04 lakh. The job also comes with other incentives and benefits.
Chef MR: In this position, a candidate is expected to prepare the meals on the menu (vegetarian and non-vegetarian) and keep accounts for the ration. In addition, they receive firearms training and are assigned other responsibilities.
Steward MR: Hereby the candidates are expected to perform the duties of waiters, housekeeping, accounting of money, wine and supplies, making menus and the like in the officers’ mess.
Hygienist MR: The candidates below are expected to keep the toilets and other places clean.
