Jamia Millia Islamia Admissions 2023: The admission process for these programs will begin on July 10, 2023 and end on July 14, 2023
The Office of the Examination Controller, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), has announced the entrance test results of 17 programs for the 2023-24 session. A list of preliminary shortlisted candidates is available on the JMI Examinations website, www.jmicoe.in.
The admission process for the following programs will begin on July 10, 2023 and end on July 14, 2023.
1- M08 MA Economics
2- M09 MA Political Science
3- M11 MA Public Administrator.
4- M12 MA Sociology
5- A09 Advance Diploma in Counseling Psychology
6- B13 Bachelor of Library Science
7- B10 BFA painting
8- B12 BFA Arts Education
9- B11 BFA Sculpture
10- B09 BFA Applied Arts
11- G09 PG Diploma in Still Photography
12- G10 PG Diploma in Acting
13- M20 MA Mass Com
14- M21 MA Convergent Journalism
15- M22 MA Development Communication
16- M23 MA visual effects
17- D01 Diploma in Engineering.
Candidates are advised to visit the JMI Examinations website for regular updates as the results of other programs will follow in a few days. The pre-selected candidates who fail to be admitted within the time limit stated in the admission notice will not be considered for admission and no application will be considered.
Meanwhile, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) also invited applications for both distance and online mode admission at the Center for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) for the 2023-24 academic session. CDOE, JMI offers 12 online programs: BA (General), B.Com, BBA, M.Com, MA in Urdu, History, Education, English, Hindi, Sociology, Political Science, Public Administration and Sociology.
Jamia Millia Islamia’s Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) will also conduct courses on drone manufacturing and assembly, and electronics hardware assembly according to Prime Minister Kaushal Vikas Yojna (PMKVY 4.0). Students will gain knowledge and practical skills in these developing industries through these courses. The inclusion of a new Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Social Work (BSW) from the academic year 2023–2024 has been announced by Jamia Millia Islamia alongside these skills-based courses. This bachelor’s degree program is administered by the Department of Social Work at JMI.
