The online registration process for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2023 has started for Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) and Overseas Students. Candidates can apply through the official site at jeeadv.nic.in. “Online registration for JEE (Advanced) 2023 is now open for OCI/PIO and foreign national candidates who did NOT participate in JEE (Main) 2023,” the official website reports.
The JEE Advanced 2023 exam registration for OCI/PIO and foreign students has started yesterday, April 24. While for the JEE Main qualified candidates, the registration process will commence on 30th April. The application deadline for all candidates is May 7. according to schedule, the Joint Admissions Examination will take place on 4 June.
JEE Advanced 2023: How to Apply
Step 1: Visit the official page at jeeadv.ac.in
Step 2: Click on the registration link ‘JEE Advanced 2023 OCI/PIO and Foreigner’ on the homepage.
Step 3: Sign in with the requested credentials.
Step 4: Fill the JEE Advanced 2023 application form as instructed.
Step 5: Submit all essential documents as required.
Step 6: Pay the application fee and submit the JEE Advanced form.
Step 7: Print the confirmation page for future reference.
JEE Advanced 2023: Entry Fee
Indian Nationals: General category candidates are required to pay Rs 2,900 as application fee. While those of the SC, ST and PwD along with female applicants are required to pay Rs 1,450.
OCI/PIO Cardholders: Candidates from open or general category are required to pay Rs 2,900. While OPEN (GEN-PwD) along with female candidates (GEN and GEN-PwD) are required to pay Rs 1,450.
Foreigners: Applicants residing in SAARC countries will pay USD 90 (approximately Rs 7,500). Applicants residing in non-SAARC countries will pay USD 180 (approximately Rs 15,000).
The Joint Admission Examination (Advanced) is held by the 7 Zonal Coordinating IITs under the supervision of the Joint Admission Board (JAB). The JEE Advanced exam consists of two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Both papers are three hours long. Candidates must appear in both newspapers. Paper 1 takes place from 9am to 12pm, while Paper 2 takes place from 2:30pm to 5:30pm.
