There are two papers in JEE Main 2024: paper 1 and paper 2. JEE Main paper 2 is kept for admission to BArch and BPlanning courses, while JEE Main paper 1 is kept for admission to BE and BTech programs at NITs, IIITs and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs) and other institutions or universities.
JEE Main 2024 Registration: Required Documents
-Scanned images of photo and signature.
-Category Certificate (if the candidate belongs to a reserved category).
-Net bank details for payment of registration fees.
-Identity proof such as Aadhaar card, bank card photo or ration card.
– Persons with Disabilities (PWD) Certificate, if applicable.
The photo must be in black and white or color and 80 percent of the face, including the ears, must be visible in the image. Candidates must take the photo with a white background, as per NTA rules. Both the photo and the signature must be in JPG/JPEG format only. The size of the photo must be between 10 kb and 200 kb. The size of the signature image must be between 4 KB and 30 KB. In addition, the size of the scanned copy of the category and/or PwD certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS, etc.) must be between 50 KB and 300 KB and in PDF format.
