Several centers of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2022 in Hyderabad witnessed server problems that left students and parents anxious on Friday. A few exam centers in Hyderabad faced technical difficulties and students claimed that several questions were not displayed correctly on the screens, Telangana Today reported.
One of the students said she got the questionnaire at 10:30 AM for the exam scheduled for 9:00 AM, but even after the exam started, the student claimed, not all questions were displayed on the screen. She said that out of 90 questions, 26 were not displayed due to server problems. She added that the issue was brought to the attention of the invigilator who said it was due to a server problem. The student further shared that the problem could not be solved even after refreshing the screen and all the students who were in the lab were abandoned.

At a center in Moosarambagh, parents claimed that despite arriving well before the 9:00 am shift, students were held up at the center gate due to server problems. Because of this, the morning shift exam couldn’t even start at 10:30 AM. According to one of the parents, the students were only allowed to enter the exam center after the parents started protesting. “After the protest, we were told that the server on one of the floors was down,” said a parent named Venkateshwaralu.
Another parent claimed that the registration process had glitches that caused the delay in the exam. “Before entering the exam hall, the hall ticket is scanned and the student’s details are recorded for registration, without which the exam cannot start. So there was a problem with scanning and registration,” said the parent.
Another student said she was asked to bring two photos because she only had one. And even when she returned on time, she was refused entry to the exam center. Reportedly, the delay in the first shift of JEE Main 2022 caused students to wait long hours for the second shift of the exam.
