In the 1st year, the pass rate for girls is 68.85 percent and for boys only 56.80 percent. While in the 2nd year, the pass rate of girls is 73.46 percent and the pass rate of boys is 60.66 percent
The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) has announced the Inter 1st and 2nd year result 2023 today, May 9th. The pass rate for the 1st year is 63.85 percent, which means that out of a total of 433082 students, 272208 students passed the exams. In the case of the 2nd year, 2,56,241 of the total 3,80,920 students passed exams with a pass rate of 67.26 percent.
In the TS Interresult 2023, girls once again outperformed boys in both 1st and 2nd year intermediate results. In the 1st year, the pass rate for girls is 68.85 percent and for boys only 56.80 percent. While in the 2nd year, the pass rate of girls is 73.46 percent and the pass rate of boys is 60.66 percent.

Girls also outperformed boys in both Telangana 11th and 12th last year. In TS Inter 2021 results, a whopping 55 percent of girls passed the TS inter freshman exam, while only 42 percent of boys who took the exam were able to pass it. This is a general trend and in recent years girls are achieving better results than boys.

Telangana’s Medchal district has achieved the highest results in freshman examinations. Up to 75.27 percent of students from Medchal who took freshman exams passed. Ranga Reddy district was second with 72.82 percent and Kumuram Bheem Asifabad was third with 72.6 percent.
In the second year exams, the Mulugu district of Telangana performed best with 85.08 percent. Kumuram Bheem Asifabad posted 80.16 percent and came second, while Medchal came third with 72.27 percent.
The first-year exams for TS Intermediate were administered by the board from March 15 through April 3, and the second-year exams were administered from March 16 through April 4. This year, 9,48,158 students were registered for the TS Intermediate Exams 2023, including 4,33,082 first-year students and 3,80,920 second-year students from the fields of Science, Commerce and the Arts.
