The Education Department of Madhya Pradesh School is planning to hire guest teachers to fill teacher vacancies in government schools for the academic year 2022-23. This recruitment was done by Guest Faculty Management System (GFMS MP). According to the post, there are 4,021 guest lecturer job openings in MP.
The recruitment will be done from the SMC/SDMC panel. A school can appoint guest lecturers at short notice if it does not appoint a permanent faculty. In the absence of permanent teachers due to leave or for another reason, guest teachers can be appointed to carry out the teaching duties.

While updating the job postings, schools should update whether the SMC panel for the subject is available or not. For schools that do not have an SMC panel for a particular subject, the vacancies are listed on the GFMS portal, after which the substantive and postal panels are appointed.
The job update process will begin on July 15, and the process will last until July 21 for schools that already have an SMC panel. For schools that do not have the panel, the process of appointing guest lecturers will be completed by July 26.
The MP School Education Department last month invited applications to hire 4,021 host faculty across the state. The recruitment was only open to candidate MPs with a diploma from a recognized university. Meanwhile, today the lottery will be drawn for admission to private schools under the Right to Education.
Admission to private schools under the RTE Act is free. This year, more than 2,01 lakh applications have been received for reserved seats under the RTE law in private schools in the state. After document verification, 1.71 lakh students were found to be eligible for concessional seats and the final selection will be through a lottery drawn today. The student’s allotment list will be made available online at http://rteportal.mp.gov.in. The admission procedure starts on July 23.
