The girl students can reappear for the NEET exam on September 4
The female students who were harassed and reportedly forced to remove their underwear during a frisk prior to the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) exam have been allowed to reappear for the medical exam by the National Testing Association (NTA). On September 4, the girl students are allowed to appear again for the NEET exam.
The information about the exam was communicated via an email by the NTA to the students, who had to deal with intimidation.
Nearly 100 female students at an exam center in Kerala claimed they were asked to take off their bras before taking the medical entrance exam as part of the body search process. The students said they had to take off their bras at the metal detection center because of “snags” in their inner clothing. The incident took place at the exam center in Kollam.

In this case, female staff of a third-party company outsourced by NTA was arrested to work at the exam center.
A 17-year-old filed a complaint with the police inspector on July 18, who brought it to light.
