The Ayush Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC) is expected to release NEET UG 2023 counseling dates soon. Once the schedule is out, candidates can view it on the official website at aaccc.gov.in. Students who have passed the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Undergraduate (NEET UG) this year can apply for the Ayush courses including Ayurveda, Yoga, Siddha, Sowa-Rigpa, Naturopathy, Unani and Homeopathy.
To participate in the Ayush UG counseling, candidates must first register on the official website of AACCC. The Ayush counseling is conducted for students seeking admission into Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS), Bachelor of Siddha Medicine and Surgery (BSMS), Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) and Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery ( BAMS) programs.
The respective guidance committee holds on behalf of the Ministry of Ayush, the Government of India (GoI). On the other hand, the state quota advisory is carried out by the respective government agencies.
The NEET Ayush counseling will be conducted in two rounds to fill the 15 percent All India Quota (AIQ) seats. Meanwhile, a separate guidance round will be held for assumed/central universities and private colleges. Subsequently, the state guidance authorities will hold NEET Ayush guidance for the remaining 85 percent of the seats.
AYUSH NEET COUNSELING 2023: HOW TO APPLY
Step 1: Visit AACCC official website at aaccc.gov.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, locate and click on the registration tab and register yourself.
Step 3: Complete the application form as requested along with the choices of colleges and courses offered.
Step 4: Then pay the application fee and submit the form.
AYUSH NEET UG 2023: Counseling Rounds
- Ayush All India Quota: There will be a total of three rounds of AIQ online counseling (Round 1, Round 2, Round 3 or Clearance Round). Seats that are free under AIQ after round 3 or the clearing round will be transferred or returned to the respective states.
- Ayush Central Universities/National Institutes: Below there will be four guidance rounds, namely: round 1, round 2, round 3 or cleanup round and finally the stray vacancy round. Round 1, 2 and 3 or cleanup round is held online by the AACCC. Meanwhile, the stray vacancy round is administered by the relevant Central University/National Institute (during this process, the AACCC sends the list of shortlisted candidates to the relevant Central University/National Institute).
- dear university: There are also a total of four guidance rounds, namely round 1, round 2, round 3 or clean-up round and stray vacancy round. All undergraduate and postgraduate seats of honorable universities are unreserved, i.e. central government reservation policy does not apply.
