The registration for Uttar Pradesh National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate counseling (NEET PG) round 1 counseling has commenced. Those who are waiting can now register and apply online for MD and MS courses on the official website – upneet.gov.in or dgmeup.in. The registration and online application started on January 12, 2022 and will continue until January 17.
The Uttar Pradesh candidates can now participate in the UP NEET 2021 guidance process. After the registration, the registered candidates are required to select and confirm their colleges.

Once the registration is completed, the Governing Body will provisionally release the merit list of registered candidates on January 18-19. Students must complete the choices online between January 20 and January 24. The registration result of UP NEET PG counseling round 1 will be announced on January 25, while the date of application to the university for admission is between January 27 and February 2.

Registration began shortly after the Supreme Court in its interim injunction on January 7 allowed the resumption of medical counseling for NEET-PG admissions for 2021-2022.
The court had also confirmed the validity of a 27 percent reservation for OBC (Other Backward Classes) students and a 10 percent reservation for economically weaker sections (EWS). Before the NEET-PG exam was administered on September 11, the exam schedule was changed twice in January and April.
