The admission cards for the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) PG 2023 are out. The NBE released the admission tickets while the candidates for NEET PG 2023 awaited the decision of the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court on Monday refused to grant pleas to postpone the NEET-PG 2023, which is scheduled for March 5.
Medical aspirants have demanded to postpone the NEET PG 2023 exam dates, citing less time for exam preparation. However, the government has already refused to postpone the exam. The decision of the National Board of Examiners for Medical Sciences (NBEMS) to release the admission card was met with backlash from the aspirants.
A Twitter user expressed her displeasure with the release of admission tickets saying, “The release of admission tickets by @NMC_IND @MoHFW_INDIA shows how much rush they are in to administer the mismanaged PG exam, in fact they are not taking even worth waiting for the judiciary to release judgment. Heights of arrogance!! @Indian__doctor @indiacom @FAIMA_INDIA_(sic)”
Another aspirant wrote on Twitter that the government knew they would win in court. “Give your best boys!!!! All the best!!” he tweeted.
Others believe the rush in the decision was for private colleges. While some believe that the National Medical Council should have maintained some decency by not releasing the admission cards when the case was in court.
One Twitter user wrote, “Justice demanded for the ailments of healers!”
Earlier this month, the Telangana High Court had asked the Medical Council to reconsider the decision, but declined to approve an order on the exam dates.
Later, students approached the Supreme Court for relief, but the case was not immediately heard. The apex court refused to issue an order to postpone the dates, stating that it could be carried out according to the previously announced schedule.
