The National Board of Examiners in Medical Sciences has postponed the NEET SS exam due to the G20 summit. The board announces new dates for the exam. The NEET SS exam was due to be conducted on September 9-10, 2023 but has been postponed due to the 18th G20 Summit, which will be held in Delhi from September 8-10, 2023.
The updated NEET-SS 2023 National Schedule will be announced soon on the NBEMS website. The NEET-SS 2023 test will be conducted through computers. The exam is taken in two shifts (morning and afternoon). The NEET SS question paper contains a total of 150 questions to be answered within two and a half hours.
NEET SS 2023: ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
The NEET SS 2023 was open to applicants who currently hold a recognized postgraduate medical degree or provisional pass certificate (MD, MS or DNB), or who expect to obtain one by September 30, 2023.
NEET SS 2023: EXAM FEES
For each group in which they chose to take the exam, the candidates had paid a fee of Rs. 4250. For example, a candidate with a Doctor of Pediatrics who decides to take the examinations for both the medical and pediatric group would have to pay Rs. 4250 + 4250 = 8500.
Earlier it was decided that the NBE will issue admission tickets for the NEET SS candidates on September 4. However, due to the postponement of the exam, admission tickets can be issued at a later date. Meanwhile, Kashmir students preparing for the National Aptitude and Entry Test for Super Specialty are concerned because the NBEMS has not established any exam centers in the Valley, The Greater Kashmir reported.
The NEET-SS 2023 entrance test is the only requirement for admission to Super Specialty Courses for the 2023-2024 academic year and will consist of the following: All DM/MCh courses offered nationwide, including those at all private medical colleges, institutions, universities, and deemed universities, as well as all DM/MCh programs offered in Armed Forces Medical Services facilities and all DrNB super specialty programs (except direct 6-year DrNB programs).
