NIIT Institute of Finance, Banking and Insurance (NIIT IFBI) has launched a postgraduate program in data engineering together with HDFC Bank. The organization not only trains the candidates, but also hires them. The certificate course, known as “Data Digits,” will get students job-ready in 12 weeks, the institute said. Through the program, the bank hopes to hire nearly 100 data scientists within a year.
Candidates must be graduate in Engineering, MBA analysis, BE, CS graduates with two years experience. The goal of the program is to nurture talent in the new-age tech field of data science and empower them to leverage data meaningfully and deliver useful business insights, NIIT says. The learning programs are delivered through live, instructor-led sessions and guest lectures from senior executives of HDFC Bank.
