When it comes to job hunting, workers are no longer fixated on the amount they take home and are looking beyond cash payouts, according to a report from job platform Naukri.com. The impact of work was voted highest by about 66 percent of respondents, followed by work culture (64 percent) and work location (62 percent).

Job location is also an important consideration for job seekers due to shorter commute times (36 percent), followed by 32 percent of respondents who prefer to look for a job in their hometown.
In addition, impactful work meant recognition at work for 28 percent of respondents. For women, equal opportunity at work (31 percent) was followed by recognition at work (24 percent), while for men, the importance of their role in the company (19 percent) was the second most relevant factor.
