Odisha raises upper age limit to apply for government jobs (representative image)

The government of Odisha has raised the age limit for applying for state jobs. Now candidates up to 28 years old can apply for government jobs in Odisha, up from 32 years earlier. The new rules will apply to recruitment notices launched in 2021 and those to be introduced in 2022 and 2023.
The age limit was also raised for candidates in the reserved category. The ST, SC, SEBC can apply up to age 43, PwD candidates in SC, ST, SEBC can apply up to age 53, including female candidates, as per the rules. The age limit for female candidates is 43 years and for PwD candidates from the detached category, the age is 48 years.
