Edtech startup GENLEAP has launched ‘GenDiscover’, a first of its kind DNA-guided self-discovery product intended to help students, parents and professionals make informed career decisions using the combined power of three proven sciences – genetics, psychometrics and cognitive astronomy.
The product gives a full rating through a combination of ‘nature’ and ‘nurture’. It combines genomic testing to determine an individual’s genetic predisposition and inherent traits, with psychometrics to capture the impact of the environment on personality.

Furthermore, it also takes into account empirical evidence from cognitive astronomy to decode birth forces. While a data-driven approach transforms insights from all three pillars to provide students and professionals with a holistic assessment, guide them along a career path, and help them upskill in areas aligned with their personality and strengths.
According to the organization, it is “ready to shake up the career management and skills ecosystem in the country.” It completes the entire journey of the students – from self-discovery to skills and employability, while addressing student needs such as course selection, test preparation, scholarships and potential employee contacts.
GenDiscover comes with insights and video counseling sessions conducted by certified coaches who are able to demystify the results and provide personalized guidance.
