Rajasthan Education Department has revised the datasheet of 5th and 8th grade exams. Under the new schedule, the 8th grade board exam, previously scheduled to be held between April 16 and 27, will now be held from April 17 to May 17. Likewise, the 5th grade exam has been postponed to April 27. instead of the previously scheduled date of April 19.
According to the official notice, all exams will be conducted in one shift from 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM instead of the scheduled slot from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM. Students with a hearing impairment are given an extra 50 minutes to write their exams.
More than 27 lakh students including 12.64 lakhs of grade 8 and 15 lakhs of grade 5 are expected to appear in these exams. Here is the full datasheet for the exam grade 5 and 8 boards.

The model papers for the exams are already available online and candidates can refer them in preparation for the exams.
Meanwhile, the board exams for class 10 and 12 are already being conducted by the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE). The class 10 exam started on March 31 and will last until April 26, while the class 12 board exams are expected to continue until April 26 after starting on March 24.
RBSE has set up nearly 6000 exam centers to conduct the exams for more than 20 lakh students in the state. The board has installed CCTV cameras in every classroom of the center and will record the entire investigation process to eliminate the possibility of malpractice.
