RRB-NTPC EXAM: Since many candidates are raising the issue that their RRB-NTPC exam centers are far from their residence, Indian Railways has decided to operate more than 65 special trains across the country for the convenience of the candidates who will be able to pass on May 9. appear for their exams and 10.
Most of these trains run on May 8 to help the students reach their exam centers in the morning and then take them home after their exams are over. The students would have to pay for special trains and no concessions will be made, officials said.
“Indian Railways will operate more than 65 special trains across the country for the candidates of the RRB_NTPC exam to be held on May 9-10,” Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw tweeted.

Some of these special trains run between Gaya-Bhilai, Samastipur-Kanpur, Sealdah-Guwahati, Jabalpur-Nanded, Darbhanga-Muzzafarpur, Agartala-Darbhanga, Agra Cantt., Patna, Veraval-Bandra, Jaipur-Amritsar, Jaipur-Indore, Kakiknada to Kurnool, Kadapa-Rajmundri, Kakinada to Mysore, Kurnool-Mysore, Narsapur-Secunderabad, Secunderabad to Ernakulam, Vijayawada-Nagarsol, Prayagraj to Anandvihar, Jabalpur-Nizamuddin, Delhi-Jammu Tawi.

Other special trains operating during this period are Old Delhi Railway Station to Jodhpur, Shalimar to Vijayawada, Hatia To Vijayawada, Trivandrum to Chennai, Narsapur to Trivandrum, Mangalore to Hubli, Tirunelveli to Mysore, Hubli to Nanded and Mysore to Eranakulam.
EXAMS OF THE RAILWAY RECRUITMENT COMMITTEE
The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) had recently published the RRB Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) Computer Based Test (CBT 2) 2022 exam city slip for wage levels 4 and 6 on its official website at rrbcdg.gov.in. The total number of candidates for the exams is 1,45,700 for 7,285 posts.
There was much murmuring among the candidates that they had been assigned cities in remote areas and requested changes in centers.
One candidate, identifying himself as Tapas, wrote on Twitter: “I applied for the Kolkata RRB for NTPC exam, but they assigned my Level 4, CBT 2 exam place on May 10 in Muzaffarpur Bihar, 590 km from home in another state. This is injustice to aspirants. Please respect student labor.”
Another aspirant Soubhik Biswas demanded a change in the exam center. “Change the exam center for RRB NTPC CBT 2. This is a humble request to move the exam center in everyone’s home state,” he tweeted.

The demand for moving centers to the home state has flooded social networking sites.
‘I am from Karnataka. I applied for Bengalure region. My 2nd stage RRB ntpc exam city is Kottayam, it is 900km long from my home country. Plzz give chance in my home state,” KN Hanumantha tweeted.
The RRB-NTPC exams were in the eye of a storm as aspirants especially from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar took to the streets, claiming to have had irregularities in the process.
SPECIAL TRAIN BETWEEN JAIPUR – INDORE AND REWA – RAJKOT
For the convenience and benefit of the candidates participating in Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC), 2nd Stage Exam, Western Railway has decided to operate a special exam train between Jaipur – Indore and Rewa – Rajkot.
Similarly, there will be an exam special between Veraval and Bandra Terminus on Sunday, May 8 at 10:45 AM and Monday, May 9 at 9:45 PM from Bandra Terminus, which has already been announced.
09709/09710 JAIPUR – INDORE EXAM SPECIAL (2 TRIPS)
Train No. 09709 Jaipur – Indore Exam Special departs Jaipur on Sunday, May 8 at 7:25 AM and arrives in Indore at 10:30 PM the same day.
Similarly, Train No. 09710 Indore-Jaipur Exam Special departs from Indore on Monday 9 May at 9pm and reaches Jaipur at 12:30pm the next day.
On the way, this train stops at Gandhinagar Jaipur, Dausa, Bandikui, Bharatpur, Bayana, Gangapur City, Sawai Madhopur, Kota, Ramganj Mandi, Nagda and Ujjain stations in both directions. This train consists of Sleeper Class and General Second Class Coaches.
02194/02193 REWARAJKOT EXAM SPECIAL (2 TRIPS)
Train No. 02194 Rewa – Rajkot Exam Special departs Rewa on Saturday, May 7 at 10:40 PM and arrives in Rajkot at 12:45 AM on Monday.
Similarly, train No. 02193 Rajkot-Rewa Exam Special departs from Rajkot on Monday 9 May at 11:05 PM and reaches Rewa on Wednesday at 12:20 AM.
On the way, this train stops at Satna, Maihar, Katni, Jabalpur, Narsinghpur, Gadarwara, Pipariya, Itarsi, Hoshangabad, Bhopal, Sant Hirdaram Nagar, Shujalpur, Ujjain, Nagda, Ratlam, Godhra, Chhayapuri, Anand, Ahmedabad, Viramgam and Surandrakanargam stations in both directions. This train consists of 1st AC, AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class and General Second Class Coaches.
The booking of train Nos. 09710/02193 started today on May 7th at the PRS counters and the IRCTC website.
SPECIAL BETWEEN NAGPUR AND SECONDERA BAD
Central Railway will run RRB exam special train between Nagpur and Secunderabad.
Train No. 01203 special departs Nagpur on 7 May at 1:30 PM and arrives in Secunderabad at 9:45 PM the following day.
01204 special departs Secunderabad on 9 May at 8:30 PM and arrives in Nagpur at 5 AM on the third day.
STOPS: Wardha, Dhamangaon, Badnera, Murtizapur, Akola, Shegaon, Malkapur, Bhusaval, Jalgaon, Manmad, Nashik Road, Kalyan, Panvel, Lonavala, Pune, Daund, Kurduwadi, Solapur, Kalaburagi, Wadi, Vikarabad, Lingampalli.
COMPOSITION: 9 Sleeper Class, 4 General Second Class, a generator car.
RESERVATION: Bookings for 01203 special at special cost started on May 6th at all computerized reservation centers and on the website www.irctc.co.in.
