The Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT), an international college entrance exam, has now become a digital exam. In addition, the duration and pattern of the exam have now also changed.
Although the format and weight of the exam have not changed, the new SAT will have a change in the pattern of the exam paper. The test still gets a score of 1600, but now has shorter reading passages and takes two hours instead of three.

College Board, claims the new pattern will give candidates more time per question and new shorter reading passages will cover a wider range of topics. Another relief for the students is that calculators are now allowed for the entire math section.
The press release also states that if you go digital now, each student will receive a unique test form, making it practically impossible to share answers. Furthermore, the new SAT is saved automatically so candidates don’t lose work or time while reconnecting.
