SBI Clerk Mains Exam format
The SBI Clerk Mains exam was performed on 10 and 12 April 2025, while the SBI Clerk Prelims exam was held on 22, 27, 28, 28, and 1 March 2025. The result was explained on March 28, 2025.
Candidates who pass the Prelims exam were eligible to appear for the Mains exam. There is no sectional cut in SBI Clerk exam. Candidates must secure the general qualification brands.
There were 190 questions for 200 points. The questions were of general/ financial consciousness, general English, quantitative predisposition, reasoning and computer adaptation.
In the objective tests, wrong answers result in negative figures. For each wrong answer, 1/4th of the brand assigned to the question is deducted. The exam lasted 2 hours and 40 minutes.
This year SBI will fill 13,735 junior associated vacancies. The starting SBI Clerk salary is INR 17,900 a month. This includes the basic wage, together with two advance steps for graduates, according to reports.
