Twenty-one children narrowly escaped after their school bus caught fire on Thursday in the Rohini in north-western Delhi, officials said. According to the fire service, they received information about the incident at 2:14 p.m., after which three fire trucks arrived on the scene to extinguish the fire. Delhi Fire Services Director Atul Garg said the vehicle caught fire near a pharmacy at Sai Baba Mandir T-point in Rohini Sector 7. “The bus (pace traveler) of Bal Bharti Public School carrying 21 children caught fire. All the children and the driver escaped unharmed,” he said.
