Shiv Nadar University, Delhi NCR, in partnership with the Academy of Continuing Education (ACE) and Jigsaw, has launched a cloud computing certification program. The joint program is designed to equip aspiring professionals with contemporary skills essential for developing careers in the domains related to cloud computing.
The program provides detailed coverage of AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and other integrated cloud concepts. The certificate program starts from August this year and is an eight-month course designed for aspiring cloud computing professionals.

The program is ideal for individuals with a bachelor’s degree in science or commerce with a total of 50 percent or more. Candidates with cursory knowledge of programming language, knowledge of developing and deploying business applications, knowledge of DBMS, and the ability to write SQL queries can apply for the program. Professionals with 1-4 years of IT developer experience are also eligible to apply.
“Today it is abundantly clear that Cloud Computing has become a key strategy adopted by companies around the world to improve scalability while reducing costs and risk. This has led to an exploding demand for skills and competencies that enable enterprises to migrate, stabilize, optimize and leverage a multitude of cloud services that enhance their competitive advantage,” said Dean Dr. Bibek Banerjee, who leads the Shiv Nadar University’s School of Management and Entrepreneurship, as well as the Academy of Continuing Education.

“A report from Building Digital Skills for the Changing Workforce states that by 2025, 63 percent of workers in India believe they will need training in cloud-related skills to stay relevant to the workforce and progress in their careers. With this increasing demand for cloud-skilled professionals, academic institutions and industry are fully appreciating the real challenge of building professional capacity in this field,” added Dr Banerjee.
