Age limit
As per the official notification of SSB Recruitment 2023, the maximum age limit for all posts is 30 years. The minimum age is 18 years for the post of Sub-Inspector (draftsman) and 21 years for the post of Sub-Inspector (Staff Nurse) female.
Selection process
Applicants with accepted applications will be issued passes to participate in the recruitment process. At the recruitment sites, candidates will undergo biometric measurements and capture digital photos, signatures, thumbprints and more as part of the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST). A written test and a medical examination will then take place.
Nationality requirement for SSB recruitment
As mentioned in the official notification of SSB Recruitment 2023, candidates applying for various posts must meet the stated nationality requirement.
For the posts of Sub-Inspector (Pioneer) and Sub-Inspector (Staff Nurse Female), candidates must be Indian Citizens for their applications to be considered.
Candidates for the posts of Sub-Inspector (Drawsman) and Sub-Inspector (Communication) are eligible to apply if they are Indian or Nepali citizens.
Exam costs
Candidates in UR/EWS and OBC categories are required to submit a non-refundable exam fee of Rs 200 through online methods such as net banking, credit card or debit card. SC, ST, E-Servicemen and women candidates, on the other hand, are exempt from this examination fee.
Salary
As per the official notification of SSB Recruitment 2023, successful candidates will receive a monthly salary within the pay scale of Level 6 (Rs 35,400-112,400). This compensation package also includes additional allowances such as dearness allowance, ration allowance, house rent allowance and more.
