IAS Kanika Rathi fulfilled her childhood dream by getting the 64th rank in the Civil Services Examination
Kanika Rathi, a resident of Bahadurgarh, Haryana, has made the whole village proud by passing the UPSC exam. She has fulfilled her childhood dream by achieving the 64th rank in the Civil Services exam. Kanika left the government job to prepare for the UPSC exam and she credits her parents and family for her success.
The father of IAS Kanika Rathi is an engineer. His uncle Dr. Anil Rathi is a senior doctor in Jhajjar Medical Department. At the same time, her mother Neelam Tripathi is a teacher. Kanika Rathi is very meritorious since her school days. She completed her B.Sc degree in Mathematics from Kirori Mal College, Delhi after completing class 12 of Bal Bharti School in Bahadurgarh. She also did PG in Liberal Studies at Ashoka University.
IAS Kanika Rathi started preparing for the UPSC exam in the year 2015. She started preparing for the UPSC exam in a coaching center in Karol Bagh in Delhi. After a failure in the years 2016 and 2017, she started preparing for a government job.

In the year 2019, Kanika Rathi got a job in the Ministry of Interior. After spending some time with the government in Patna’s IB department, she resigned after consulting her parents. She gave her UPSC interview on April 30, 2022 and the result came on May 30, 2022. Her happiness knew no bounds after seeing the 64th rank in the UPSC exam. Finally she passed the exam on the fourth attempt and became IAS.
IAS Kanika Rathi is also very fond of gardening and painting. She studied 5-6 hours a day and considered revision the foundation of success. She went on to coach for a year, but then preferred self-study. For studies, she also made use of tutorials on YouTube.
