The Tamil Nadu Adi Dravidar Housing and Development Corporation (TADCO) and HCL have teamed up to offer diploma and placement opportunities. TADCO will also provide loans for training costs. This scheme has been announced only for Adi Dravidian and Tribal students who have completed Class 12 in the academic years 2020-21, 2021-22. Interested parties can register at iei.tahdco.com.
Candidates who apply and are selected for the joint scheme will be offered a job after graduation. Moreover, the students enrolled in the first year through this scheme will get free training, a laptop and a reward of Rs 10,000.

In the second year of the course, HCL will offer a job according to the skills suitable for the candidates. They will be given facilities to study at the universities of BITS Pilani, Shastra and Amity. Candidates should note that to be eligible for this program, students seeking admission to BITS Pilani only must have scored more than 60 percent in Mathematics or Business Mathematics along with Physics upon graduation.

Meanwhile, the former Chief Justice of India and a sitting member of the Rajya Sabha, Ranjan Gogoi, has decided to donate his full salary as a parliamentarian to law students. Those who complete a five-year law school from a state get the money as a scholarship. A fund has been set up with the compensation that Gogoi has not taken until now.
“This money should come in handy for students, especially law students. I am sure that the stipend and salary I have to pay for the past two years will be good enough to finance the education of at least 10 to 15 students.” said the former CJI.
