Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Accenture and Cognizant top the list of companies in India launched by LinkedIn on Wednesday. The sixth annual edition reveals 25 best workplaces for professionals in India to grow their careers. According to the survey, 23 of the top 25 companies with offices in Bengaluru have bolstered the city’s reputation as the “Silicon Valley of India,” the survey claims.
Amid this digital boom, the sixth annual ranking also features notable financial organizations including EY (rank 13), ICICI Bank (rank 14) and HDFC bank (rank 17) among others. Also on this year’s list are Publicis Groupe (Rank 12), Arm (Rank 21) and Bosch (Rank 24), making their debut in India as top companies on LinkedIn for the first time.

LinkedIn looked at its platform data on seven pillars: ability to move forward, skill growth, company stability, external opportunities, affinity with the company, gender diversity and educational background,” the company said.
“Accenture has moved closer to its goal of 50:50 representation, with women now making up 45 percent of the company’s workforce, after moving to a gender-neutral policy in India last year. In addition, Wipro has also taken action-oriented steps towards inclusion by introducing a return to work program to help women get their careers back on track after a break. The total employee strength at TCS is more than 5 lakh; more than 2 lakh of them are working women,” the report added.
